Display

The weatherproof display is easy to read, even in direct sunlight, and keeps the driver up to date at all times. Due to the open CAN bus interface, other displays can also be integrated into our powertrain. If a vehicle does not require a fixed display, our Emerge EV App can be used as a replacement display on the smartphone instead.

Vehicle Control Unit

With our VCU, we network the entire vehicle with peripheral components. Example: In eScooter sharing, the VCU establishes the online connection to rent the vehicle via the app. Further interfaces are USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, 3G, 4G, depending on the application.

Drive Unit

Since 2017 we also offer complete drive units. The motor control is installed directly on the motor. In our DIY program, we support developers of integrated drive solutions by supplying our motor controller as a printed circuit board.

Motor Controller

Our motor-controller has enjoyed great success in electric scooter sharing and motor sports since 2014. In Europe more than 4000 rental vehicles are on the road, that gathered millions of kilometers and an huge amount of experience.

Thanks to two full race saisons in the WEC LMP1 class including the 24h of Le Mans race, the controller has proven its durability and special robustness. Due to the small form factor, the high power of up to 12kW and the best possible efficiency, we offer a high degree of freedom in vehicle development and other industrial application.

In our DIY program, we offer the motor controller PCB for integration into custom drive units.

Battery

Since 2013, our battery technology can be found in the large electric scooter rental fleets in Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Paris and Bordeaux, as well as in a wide range of industrial products. We developed the electronics and the software of the battery management system (BMS) ourselves and can swiftly react to any functional requirement. With a UL certification, the BMS can be legally distributed in more than 50 countries worldwide, including the USA.

In our DIY program, we offer the BMS PCB for integration into custom battery packs.

Service Software

Even an electric vehicle has to be serviced. We have already developed the infrastructure to establish your dealer network. Our control units are equipped with a USB diagnostic interface in order to give service staff access to the fault memory or to carry out firmware updates.

Perfectly matching components

Our components are specially tailored to the European market and vehicle class L1E. The power requirement of 4kW was at the centre of the development of the drive components. With the combination of Emerge 6000 and the eScooter battery pack, we meet the requirements of this vehicle class under all climatic conditions and at the same time have the best-in-class form factor, which enables our customers to achieve a particularly slim vehicle design.

We enable growth

With our franchising program, we offer our industrial customers a high degree of independence, especially when it comes to large quantities. We enable our customers to take the production of Emerge printed circuit boards or entire components into their own hands, and have been doing so since 2013. The advantages are obvious. Optimized material procurement, independent production planning and improved logistics through production close to the vehicle assembly line.

SOL Pocket Rocket at Indigogo

Manuel and his team have brought their vehicle “Pocket Rocket” to Indigogo and hope for an active participation in the search for interested first customers. For the concept vehicle, an Emerge 6000 engine control was discreetly integrated into the frame tube. A LiIon battery with the Emerge HighPower BMS is also in the frame tube. The two components ensure proper propulsion and driving pleasure.

The electric go kart is our demo vehicle with which we present and test the complete drive train. The Mach 1 chassis comes from a former rental kart. In comparison to the 5PS combustion engine, we manage with our high-power battery pack a driving time of 30 – 60 minutes and leave the combustion far behind on lap times.

The Stella community has cracked the 10,000 customer mark in Stuttgart! ???✨Seit August 2016 the electric scooters charged with green electricity drove more than 450,000 kilometres climate-neutrally! Over 30,000 kilograms of climate-damaging CO2 were saved for Stuttgart. Super!

Today we give you an exclusive insight into our ultra-modern batteries for electric scooters.
A battery pack consists of 168 individual cells that are welded together to form a corepack. Our battery management electronics are located above the core pack and ensure that the battery is monitored and protected. In addition, the battery management communicates with the vehicle’s electrical system to indicate the current state of charge and protect the vehicle from theft.
By the way, such a battery can store 2150 watt hours of energy, which is about 0.25 liters of super fuel, which is absolutely world class, even if it doesn’t sound like it. Thanks to the super-efficiency of our engine control system, an eScooter with this amount of energy can reach a safe 50-60km.
